One of my favorite ways to brew tea has always been with a French press… perfectly filtered, beautifully steeped, and ready to pour without fuss. It feels slow, intentional, and comforting… everything tea time should be.

The Dear Darling Mushroom Tea Press was born from that love of ritual, and from a dream that lived for years in the pages of my notebook. Long before Sips of Whimsy came to life, I dreamed of working with Darra of Dear Darling Design Studio — and that dream finally came true when she lovingly brought my vision to life through my branding.

This piece is dedicated to her and her incredible artistry.

Combining our shared love for vintage charm, 70’s nostalgia, and iconic Merry Mushroom kitchenwares, this tea press adds a colorful Dear Darling twist to a timeless brewing method. The whimsical mushroom design feels playful yet nostalgic, a true statement piece for your tea shelf.

Crafted from light amber–tinted borosilicate glass with a soft smoky warmth that beautifully complements the natural bamboo lid and silicone base. Thoughtfully designed to balance beauty and function, this press is finished with a bamboo lid and press, plus a removable silicone base for added stability and everyday ease.
