Sips of Whimsy didn’t initially begin as a business - it grew from memories, moments, and the little sparks of joy that shaped me. This brand is my love letter to the places and people who made life feel warm, soft, and wonderfully whimsical.

🌿 Rooted in My Grandmother’s Garden

Some of my earliest and sweetest memories bloom in my grandmother’s garden in Alabama — a place she still tends with so much love today.
Rows of plums, mint, berries, and bright little blooms turned her garden into a tiny wonderland. As a child, I thought every plant had its own secret story, and she let me wander and discover it all.

We spent slow afternoons picking herbs, brushing dirt off fruit, and listening to her tell stories that felt like magic.
That garden taught me how healing and joyful nature could be - and those same garden notes still inspire many of my blends: fresh, vibrant, and full of life.

🍪 Cozy Kitchens & Baking Warmth

The other half of my heart lives in my grandmother’s kitchen - the warmest place I knew growing up, and still one of my favorite spots on earth.

The smell of cinnamon rolls rising, cobbler cooling on the counter, caramel dripping from a wooden spoon… those scents wrapped around me like a hug. She passed down her love of baking, and it continues to shape the way I craft my tea blends today.

I’ve always had a soft spot for all things 70s! The kind of retro treasures that feel warm, lived-in, and full of personality.
Think groovy florals, sun-soaked oranges and golds, bold earthy colors, and those psychedelic patterns that curl and swirl like they’re dancing. I love the whole vibe: part free-spirited hippie, part cozy grandma kitchen, with a tiny touch of disco sparkle.

I grew up falling in love with thrifted finds: mugs with little chips that tell stories, ceramic mushrooms that look like they came straight from a woodland dream, and those Merry Mushroom–style kitchenwares with warm browns, oranges, and mushroom motifs. They feel comforting, nostalgic, and delightfully quirky all at once.

The 70s had this magical blend of natural textures, wood tones, handmade charm, and bold artistic flair that makes everything feel soulful. Nothing feels sterile or perfect - it feels lived in, loved, and full of character. That’s exactly the heart I try to bring into Sips of Whimsy.
